In 1982 CC's first project was born, the Dehiwela Outreach Center. A small house was rented on the beach, which provided a soup kitchen, wound cleaning and other mercy ministries. Today CC operates out of a main building in the heart of the slum area known as the Dehiwela Outreach Centre (DOC). Many programs have been implemented and hundreds of children and adults come daily for help. The staff and volunteers are always willing to make a difference in the lives of those who come seeking for assistance.
