Our island is an important producer of tea, gemstones, coffee, coconuts, rubber, and the native cinnamon. Sri Lanka is also known as the "nation of smiling people", everywhere you turn you will see a smile. The people of Sri Lanka are inviting and welcoming to anyone they meet. Sri Lanka offers many adventures and cultural history to explore wonderful places including Adams Peak, Arugam Bay, Buddist and Hindu Temples, and much more. Even though our country offers great things, there are still people that need our help.
